Its made with the original ingredients that we found in a 1930s. These ingredients almost create a cross between a no-bake cookie and a candy and can easily be rolled into balls. Our Corn Flake candy is delicious, tastes like peanut butter fudge with a whimsical crunch. Corn syrup bonds the components together and gives a sweet flavor. Peanut butter and cornflakes are the prominent flavors in these cookie balls. Add the peanut butter and stir until nice and smooth. Mix until the sugar is completely dissolved. I was so pleased to find a version of that recipe that is quicker and great to make all year round. Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl and heat until sugars have dissolved, about 1 minute.
